‘GROW A PAIR’– Ovaries/uterus – Mugwort (Artemisia species)- Yarrow (Achillea species)

Mugwort’s (also known as Wormwood) genus Artemisia is named after the Greek goddess of the moon and female energies, Artemis. It’s often been used for menstrual issues along with a whole laundry list of other ailments including colds, deworming, heartburn, sore throats, and muscle aches. It is most commonly used externally in saunas, footbaths, steam baths, or as a salve, but can also be used internally with caution as it contains the volatile oil, absinthol which can be neurotoxic, convulsive, and hallucinogenic if used in excess. “Yikes, powerful female energies scare me… ????”

Yarrow is a ‘woman’s tea’ used for irregular menstruation and menopause along with general health of the reproductive organs. It is also a classic brew for colds and flu. Note* Yarrow is a potent medicinal beverage, not an everyday beverage. Large doses can mess you up!
